Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the process of production and to reduce the production cost by simultaneously executing a printing by transfer of the designs, characters, etc., of a display name plate and panel and a printing of a filter layer having a light diffusion function in a prescribed region within a transfer foil. CONSTITUTION: Only a part of a base material film 1 for transfer foil where the light diffusion function is necessary is printed with a partial matte layer 2 and the surface of the base material film 1 for transfer foil inclusive of the partial matte layer 2 is printed with a release lacquer layer 3, and thereafter, the release lacquer layer 3 corresponding to the partial matte layer 2 is printed with a diffusion layer 4. Further, the region enclosing the diffusion layer 4 on the release lacquer layer 3 is printed and formed with printing layers consisting of the designs, characters, etc., and thereafter, the diffusion layer 4 and the printing layer 5 are printed with an adhesive layer 6, by which the transfer foil is obtd. Next, the transfer foil is transferred by thermal pressing onto a transparent base material 7. When the base material film 1 is peeled, the partial matte layer 2 remains on the base material film 1 and the transfer surface 8 in the part is formed as ruggedness and the light diffusion function is obtd. As a result, the stages are simplified and the production cost is reduced.
