Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the title panel to observe predetermined indication through one side, while the other side displays a function of a mirror surface and see- through properties, by a method wherein a dotted fine laminated pattern is provided on a base material and the said pattern is obtained by laminating a mirror face layer and colored design layer from a base material side. CONSTITUTION:A metallized layer 4 is formed on a base material 1 of a transparent film. Then a colored design layer 3 is formed in a dotted state on the metallized layer 4 through printing by making use of printing ink of a desired color tone. A part of the metallized layer 4 where the colored design layer 3 of the base material 1 has not been formed is removed through etching with a 5% aqueous solution of fluoric acid and the metallized layer 4 is formed on only the underneath of the colored design layer 3. Then a design panel comprised of a mirror surface layer 2 formed of the metallized layer 4 on the transparent base material 1, nonsee-through part A which is of an opaque fine laminated pattern where colored design layer 3 has been laminated and a see-through part B other than the foregoing, is obtained.
