Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the area of an inside air introducing port and increase the sucked air quantity by forming a plurality of inside air introducing ports onto an inside/outside air selecting box having an outside air introducing port and an inside/outside air discharge port formed and installing an inside/outside air selecting damper and an inside air opening/closing damper. CONSTITUTION:An inside/outside air selecting box 15 which constitutes the main part of an air introducing device 14 is equipped with an outside air introducing port 16 on the top wall 15a of an inclined surface and an inside/outside air discharge port 17 communicating to the inside of a scroll casing 11 is on the bottom wall 15f. In this constitution, the inside air introducing ports 20 and 21 having a large or small area are formed on the both side walls 15b and 15d oppositely set in the car width direction of the selecting box 15. Further, inside the selecting box 15, an inside/outside air selecting damper 18 for adjusting each opening degree of the outside air introducing port 16 and an inside air introducing port 20 having a large area and an inside air opening/ closing damper 19 for adjusting the opening degree of the inside air introducing port 21 having a small area are arranged. The shafts 28 and 29 of the dampers 18 and 19 are interlocked with the damper operating parts.
