うにした本考案に比べ把持装置の占有スペース
(半径方向)を多く必要とする。特に被把持部材
がタイヤである場合のタイヤ成形機用にあつて
は、1個所でドラムに巻付けられるタイヤ部材数
が多いので、タイヤ部材供給装置の配置上、半径
方向の占有スペースを多く必要とする等の欠点が
ある。従つて前記の如くセグメントが半径方向に
直動するものは、本考案に比べて構造が複雑でコ
スト高となるなどの問題があつた。本考案は前記
の如く構成されているため、被把持部材がタイヤ
等の円筒物であつても、センタリング精度、特に
半径方向の精度が高く、また装置をコンパクト
(小型)にすることができる等の優れた効果を奏
するものである。
