Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact device by dividing an axle case into the right and left parts and installing a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor on the both sides of a center plate nipped between the divided cases and covering the hydraulic motor by one divided case. CONSTITUTION:A pair of axles 6L and 6R of a traveling vehicle such as tractor project horizontally in the right and left directions, and the pump shaft 9 of a hydraulic pump P is vertically arranged. In this case, an axle case 11 is divided into two half-divided cases 11L and 11R laterally towards the advance direction of the vehicle. A center plate 10 is nipping-fixed between the both half-divided cases 11R and 11L. A hydraulic pump P and a hydraulic motor M which constitute and HST transmission are installed on the right and left sides of the center plate 10, respectively. Further, the hydraulic motor M is covered by one half-divided case 11R. Therefore, the compact device can be obtained.
