Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact device and simplify a transmission structure by dividing an axle case into the upper and lower parts and fixing a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor on the joint surface of the axle cases. CONSTITUTION:A pair of axles 6L and 6R of a traveling vehicle such as tractor project horizontally in the right and left directions, and the pump shaft 9 of a hydraulic pump P is vertically arranged. In this case, an axle case 11 is divided into the upper and lower axle cases 11a and 11b in the vicinity of the axis line of each axle 6. Each axle 6, reduction gear shaft 8, and a center plate 10 are nipped on the vertical dividing line. Further, a hydraulic pump P and a hydraulic motor M are fixed above and under the center plate 10, and an HST set in constituted. Further, fixed seats 11c and 11d are formed on the opposed surfaces of the divided axle cases 11a and 11b, and the center plate 10 is fixed by the fixed seats 11c and 11d.
