Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit a stable opening and closing of a damper even if the liquid to be filled in the captioned apparatus contains fibrous substances by moving downwards a damper opening and closing rod by means of a plate cam, a primary arm, and a secondary arm and moving the same upwards by means of springs. CONSTITUTION:A spring 19 is located above a damper opening and closing rod 17 and a spring 20 below the same, as if the rod where enclosed by these springs and, on the right side of an upper projecting end of the rod 17, a frame 41 and a horizontal cam shaft 42 are disposed. A plate cam 43 and a pulley 44 are fixed to said cam shaft. Upon the movement of a piston rod 55 caused by operating a fluid pressure operated cylinder 53, both a primary arm 47 and a secondary arm 58 are moved with a stopper 58 in contact with a tab 52 protruding to the left side but restrained from their independent movements. In this condition, upon the rotational movement of the cam shaft 42, the plate cam 43 causes both the primary arm 47 and the secondary arm 48 to rockably move, thereby moving the damper opening and closing rod 17 upwards and downwards to open and close a damper 16.
