Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 (イ) 考案の目的 本考案は筆記具の先端部構造に関する。更に詳
細には、弁体を作動させてインキ貯蔵部から、ペ
ン体ホルダーに保持されたペン体にインキを供給
するタイプの筆記具（弁式筆記具）において、顔
料を高粘性の媒体に分散させた如き比較的高粘性
のインキを細径の合成樹脂ペン体から持続して潤
沢に流出させる、細書き筆記に有効な先端部の構
造に関する。
従来より弁式筆記具では、顔料を分散させた比
較的高粘性のインキが主に適用されており、前記
インキを流出させるために、ペン体は高気孔率且
つ外径寸法の大きい、繊維樹脂加工体やフエルト
等の適用を余儀なくされており、筆記圧によるペ
ン先の変形、圧壊や繊維のほつれ等の不具合を発
生させ、持久性及び細書き適性を満足させていな
かつた。本考案は、細径の合成樹脂ペン体（プラ
スチツクの内部軸線方向にインキ通路を貫設して
なる）を適用し、前記ペン体と内部軸線に空間部
を配設したインキ誘導芯を特定に組合せ配置する
ことにより、前記従来の不具合を解消し、細書き
適性を満足させる先端部の構造を開示するもので
ある。
(ロ) 考案の構成 本考案は、ペン体ホルダーに保持されたペン体
の先端を押圧して弁体を後退作動させてペン体に
インキを供給するタイプの弁式筆記具において、
ペン体１がプラスチツクの内部軸線方向にインキ
通路を貫設した外径２mm以下の合成樹脂ペン体で
あり、前記ペン体１と弁部との間にペン体１の外
径と略同一径の軸線方向の空間部４を軸心の少な
くとも前部に配設した、繊維の樹脂加工体からな
る多孔質インキ誘導芯３を配置し、前記ペン体１
の後部を前記空間部４の一部を残して前記インキ
誘導芯３の空間部４内に挿入して該誘導芯３の前
部と接続されており、前記誘導芯３の後端は、弁
杆６の前端に密接させて組立てられてなる先端部
の構成を特徴とする。
前記合成樹脂ペン体１は、従来公知のプラスチ
ツクの内部軸線に毛細間隙を貫通させた構造の持
久性のペン体であればよく、インキ誘導芯３は、
適宜の毛細管力と保液性を有し、ペン体１の外径
寸法より大の、多孔質の繊維樹脂加工体である。
軸線方向の空間部４は、ペン体１からのインキ
の過剰流出による漏出を起こさせない程度の小空
間であり、この大きさ（容積）は適用されるイン
キの物性（例えば、粘度、表面張力）、ペン体１
の保液性等により決められる。例えば、低表面張
力、低粘性の滲出、流動性大のインキ及び／又は
保液性の小さいペン体１の組合せでは、表面張力
によりインキを保持しうる程度の微小空間であ
り、逆の比較的非流動性のインキ及び／又は保液
性大のペン体１では、前記に比較して大容積の空
間が形成される。
前記空間部４は、繊維樹脂加工体の製造時に一
体形成するか、後加工により穿設して実用に供さ
れる。
以下に本考案の具体例を図面について説明す
る。第１図および第２図は、具体例の各縦断面図
である。尚、第３図は繊維樹脂加工体からなる、
多孔質且つ大径のペン体１を軸先部に緩挿してな
り、ペン先を押圧して開弁させる従来の弁式筆記
具の要部縦断面図である。
第１図、第２図は、いずれもペン体１の先端を
押圧することにより、軸先部に緩挿保持させたペ
ン体ホルダー２と共に該ホルダーに内挿固定のイ
ンキ誘導芯３を後退させ、弁杆６を押してバネ体
８で弾発支持した弁体５を弁座７から離し、イン
キ貯蔵部１０のインキを筆記先端に導出させ、圧
力を解除すると、バネ体８の弾発力により弁体５
を元位置に戻して閉弁する構造である。
第１図および第２図示例において、ペン体１は
プラスチツクの内部軸線方向にインキ通路を貫設
した、外径約１mmφの合成樹脂ペン体であり、多
孔質インキ誘導芯３は、前記ペン体１より大径且
つ高気孔率の繊維樹脂加工体である。
前記インキ誘導芯３には、軸心部にペン体１の
外径と略同一径の軸線方向の空間部４が、前部
（第１図示）に或いは末端まで貫設されている
（第２図）。
前記ペン体１はペン体ホルダー２の前部小径孔
に先端を僅か突出させて挿入固定され、インキ誘
導芯３は空間部４の一部に前記ペン体１の後部を
挿入させて、ホルダー２の後部大径孔に挿入固定
されている。
前記インキ誘導芯３には、連続気孔を有するプ
ラスチツクポーラス体等の高多孔性のインキ保持
体１２を必要に応じて外挿して、開弁時にインキ
誘導芯３の保液量を越える大過剰のインキが流出
した場合のインキ溜めとして機能させることがで
きる。
(ハ) 考案の作用、効果 前記構成の筆記具において、開弁操作によりイ
ンキ貯蔵部１０のインキは、弁部より前方に流出
し、多孔質インキ誘導芯３に吸収される。前記誘
導芯３は、適宜の毛細管力と保液性を有してお
り、筆記先端方向にインキを導く。ここでインキ
誘導芯３の保液量を越えた若干量のインキは、空
間部４に滲出貯溜され、このインキはペン体１の
後端面に開口した軸方向のインキ通路に導入さ
れ、筆記先端に供給される。前記空間部に貯溜の
インキは、誘導芯３の繊維間の毛細間隙に保持さ
れるインキに比較して、フリー且つ流動性である
ので、毛細管力の弱いインキ通路をもつペン体１
に対し効果的にインキを供給することができる。
筆記に際し、空間部４に貯留のインキは、筆記
先端から流出して消費されるが、該空間部４には
消費に応じてインキ誘導芯３のインキが補給され
る。前記補給は、インキ誘導芯３の保液性、イン
キ物性等により左右されるが限界があり、この限
界を越えた時点（即ち、筆記先端からのインキ流
出不良を起こす時点）では、開弁操作を繰り返す
ことにより、インキ誘導芯３にインキを補給して
継続筆記を可能とする。
本考案は、前記の如く合成樹脂ペン体１と、内
部軸線方向に空間部４をもつ、繊維の樹脂加工体
からなる多孔質インキ誘導芯３を組合せ特定に配
置することによつて、従来、適性なインキ流出性
が得られないために弁式筆記具への適用を制約さ
れていた、細径の合成樹脂ペン体１の効果的な適
用を可能となし、顔料分散インキ等の比較的高粘
性のインキを潤沢に流出させることができる上、
繊維樹脂加工ペン体では奏し得ない、細書きを持
続させる筆記具の先端部を提供する。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ペン体ホルダーに保持されたペン体の先端を押
    圧して弁体を後退作動させてインキ貯蔵部からペ
    ン体にインキを供給するタイプの筆記具におい
    て、ペン体１がプラスチツクの内部軸線方向にイ
    ンキ通路を貫設した外径２mm以下の合成樹脂ペン
    体であり、前記ペン体１と弁部との間にペン体１
    の外径と略同一径の軸線方向の空間部４を軸心の
    少なくとも前部に配設した、繊維の樹脂加工体か
    らなる多孔質インキ誘導芯３を配置し、前記ペン
    体はその後部を前記空間部４の前部に挿入してイ
    ンキ誘導芯３と接続させており、前記誘導芯３の
    後端は弁杆６の前端に密接させて組立てられてな
    る筆記具の先端部構造。
