Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to convey a mortar layer onto separated surface to be covered without collapse of the shape of the layer for correct laying by a method wherein the cut-off mortar layer is poured on the surface to be covered for laying by means of a receiver box and the top surface of the layer is pressed by the force suitable for the solidification of the mortar layer itself and fixing to the surface to be covered by appropriate pressure. CONSTITUTION:The downward feeding port 2 of a hopper 1, in which hard-kneaded mortar M is charged, is closed by a partition plate 3 to close the lower end of the port. By laterally opening the partition plate 3 under the state that a thin flat mortar receiver box 4 is held below the port, the mortar M at the lower layer in the holder 1is settled in the interior 4a of the receiver box. By closing the partition plate 3 after the settling of the mortar, the mortar in the interior 4a of the box is cut off from the mortar M in the hopper 1. The receiver box 4 containing the cut-off mortar layer is pushed together with a bottom plate 5 onto a surface F to be covered. After that, while the receiver box 4 or the bottom plate 5 is being vibrated by means of a vibrating device 12, for example, the bottom plate 5 is pulled back so as to fall and lay the mortar layer in the interior 4a of the box without collapse of shape of the layer. Finally, the mortar layer is pressed down by a force suitable for solidification of the mortar layer itself and the fixing to the surface F to be covered by suitable pressure with a press 7.
