Abstract

PURPOSE: To join parts securely at a low cost, with short processing time and without deteriorating the aesthetic feeling of the joining by providing joining members formed by a fixed member and a rotatable member at the end portions of the parts to be joined. CONSTITUTION: A fixed member 1 and a rotatable member 2 rotatable at the end portion are embedded in the end portions of the parts to be joined. The fixed member 1 consists of a fixing portion 11 formed by a cylinder with a part of it cut off, a joining portion 12 and a shaft 13. The rotatable member 2 is cylinder-shaped and has a groove 21 allowing the joining portion 12 and shaft 13 of the fixed member 1 to be inserted and the rotatable member 2 to rotate around the shaft 13, and a recess 23 avoiding the interference with the joining portion 12 due to rotation. The bottom of the groove 21 is semicircle- shaped with its center nearer to the opening of the groove than that of the rotatable member 2, so the two members can be tightly joined after the shaft 13 is inserted into the groove 21 and a driver is put into a groove 24 and turned, hence the end portions in which the two members are embedded are also tightly joined.
