Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness and the speed of interrupt handling by providing two interrupt modes. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of interrupt handling mode are provided, and information indicating the execution state is saved to perform interrupt handling in one mode, and interrupt handling is performed without saving this information in the other mode. When the latter mode is designated, operation and information transfer are performed after information indicating the execution state is masked to prevent the change of this information. That is, since two interrupt modes are provided and information 11 and 12 indicating the state of an executing part 10 are held as they are without being saved at each time of output of a coincidence signal from a pattern generating part 30 and operation and transfer processings between the value of a buffer memory on a memory 22 and a comparison register 32 are performed by macro service, the processing efficiency of the executing part is improved and the degradation in processing efficiency due to the increase of the number of channels for pattern output is reduced.
