Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in moldability, by mixing an OH group-containing copolymer obtained by saponifying an ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer with a specified block isocyanate. CONSTITUTION:An ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer is saponified to obtain an OH group-containing copolymer (a) having molar fractions based on the total structural monomer units of the respective structural monomer units of 0.90-0.50 for ethylene, 0.001-0.45 for vinyl ester and 0.02-0.35 for vinyl alcohol. Component (a) is mixed with a blocked isocyanate (b) having at least two blocked NCO groups in the molecule, essentially consisting of a blocked isocyanate of the formula (wherein Bl is a residue of a blocking agent for an isocyanate, R<1> is a bivalent isocyanate residue or a 2-20C bivalent hydrocarbon group, R<2> is H or CH3, m is 1-5, and n is 1-30), in an amount which is 0.2-10mol. per 100mol. of the structural monomer units of component (a) and is smaller than the number of moles of the vinyl alcohol units of component (a).
