Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a curable compsn. excellent in shelf stability and curable into a rubbery elastic material excellent in tensile properties, etc. and free of residual tack, by combining an org. rubber polymer having reactive silicon- functional groups with a specific org. silicon compd. CONSTITUTION:A curable org. rubber polymer (A) having reactive silicon- functional groups provided by forming a siloxane bonds in the molecule is combined with an org. silicon compd. (B) of formula I (wherein R<0> is an alcohol or weak acid residue; R<1> is methyl or vinyl; and n is a positive integer) to prepare the desired curable compsn. Specific pref. examples of the component A include a propylene oxide polymer having dimethoxysilyl groups, while those of the component B include compds. of formulae II and III. A suitable blending proportion of the component B is about 0.1-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. the component A.
