Generally speaking, referring to FIG. 1, the reflector 2
In this case, a bright aluminum plate is arranged inside a casing main body 1 having a U-shaped cross section with an open vertically long front surface, with a bright aluminum plate curved in a cross-sectional quadratic curve shape 2a so that the curved concave surface 2b faces forward. An electric heating element e such as an infrared heater is arranged vertically at approximately the focal point of the curved concave surface 2b, and when the electric heating element e is energized, the radiant heat of the electric heating element e is transferred to the curved concave surface 2b of the reflecting plate 2, The other quadratic curved surface 2a heats the body by reflecting it toward the open front side, but since the electric heating element e located at the focal point of the curved concave surface 2b has a high temperature, the curved concave surface 2b Since the continuous quadratic curved surfaces 2a are heated to a high temperature and temperature unevenness occurs on each surface of the reflecting plate, the reflecting plate 2 is deformed by thermal strain, and this deformation causes the electric heating element e
The radiant heat from the reflector 2 may not be reflected directly forward by the reflector 2, or the electric heating element e and the curved concave surface 2b of the reflector 2 may come very close to each other, and may even come into contact with each other, resulting in poor heat dissipation efficiency. This is a significant decrease.

The inventors first proposed an improvement plan (May 29, 1981)
The outline of this improvement plan will be explained based on FIGS. 4 and 5. The reflecting plate a is made of a single plate, for example, an aluminum plate; The reflecting plate a is arranged inside the casing main body C, which has a U-shaped cross section with an open vertical front surface, and is curved in a vertically elongated quadratic curve shape a1 , with its curved concave surface a2 facing forward. A pair of half-shaped reflector support members b 1 and b 2 are attached at multiple locations on the back surface of the casing body c in contact with the quadratic curved surface a 1 of the reflector a, and the open end edge of the casing body c is an open end edge of the reflector a;
The open end edges of the reflector support members b 1 and b 2 are fitted and locked into the left and right coupling members d 1 and d 2 , respectively, to fixedly support the reflector a on the casing body c.

免かれず、十分なものとはいえない。 According to this proposal, the rearward thermal strain deformation of the reflector a is regulated by the plurality of reflector support members b 1 , b 2 . . . , but the forward thermal strain deformation is restricted by the coupling members d 1 ,
Since it is restricted only at the point d 2 , it has only a partial effect.On the curved concave surface 2b of the quadratic curved surface 2a, which is closest to the electric heating element e and has the highest temperature, a reflector is supported on the back side. There are only members b 1 , b 2 ..., and they are completely free from the front, so even if they are effective against backward deformation, they are not effective against forward deformation, and the heat dissipation efficiency decreases due to the deformation. still remains unavoidable and not sufficient.

However, in order to minimize thermal strain deformation through simple improvements, various experiments have shown that the locations where thermal strain deformation is most likely to occur are the position of the notch hole in the central part and the intermediate position between the central part and the upper and lower ends. After discovering that there is, a reinforcing rib is provided in the circumferential direction at least at this position in order to prevent thermal strain deformation in the front and rear directions.

In a reflector plate in which an electric heating element is disposed in the center part of the reflector plate, at positions near the top and bottom of an elongated round hole for attaching a support member for the electric heat generating element in the center part of the reflector plate, and at a position intermediate between the center part and the top and bottom ends, respectively. The present invention is characterized in that it is used as a reflecting plate in a radiant heater in which reinforcing ribs having a V-shaped or U-shaped cross section are provided in the circumferential direction.

The figure is a perspective view, and FIG. 3 is a developed view.As described above, the reflecting plate 2 is formed by the quadratic curved surface 2a and the curved concave surface 2b in the center, and 4 is an elongated hole, and the electric heating element This is a hole for attaching a support member (not shown) to support the center part of e because it is long, and is bored in the center part 2c of the reflector plate 2, and its shape is according to the results of experiments. It has been found that the notch effect of thermal distortion is smaller in an oblong shape than in a rectangular shape, and the oblong shape is better.

するものである。 In the above embodiment, the reinforcing ribs are attached to the reflecting plate 2.
Near the top and bottom of the oblong hole 4 in the central part 2c, and in the central part 2c
The reinforcing ribs are provided at the four locations where the thermal strain is the largest, which is the intermediate position between the upper and lower end portions 2d and 2e, but if the central portion 2c does not have a notch for the oblong hole 4, one reinforcing rib may be sufficient for this portion; Depending on the length of the reflector plate 2, a large number of reinforcing ribs may be provided, and these reinforcing ribs absorb thermal strain toward the front or back against thermal stress, and improve the reflective surface of the reflector plate 2. This is to prevent forward or backward deformation and maintain the quadratic curved surface 2a and the curved concave surface 2b.

果を奏する。 The present invention is as described above, and the present invention is arranged inside a casing main body 1 having a U-shaped cross section so that the curved concave surface 2b is curved in a quadratic curve shape 2a and faces forward, and the curved concave surface 2b In a reflecting plate 2 in which an electric heating element e is disposed at approximately the focal position of the reflecting plate 2, a position near the top and bottom of an elongated round hole 4 for attaching a support member for the electric heating element e in the central part 2c of the reflecting plate 2 and the central part 2c and the upper and lower ends 2d and 2e, each of which has a V-shaped or U-shaped cross section, is provided as a reflecting plate in the circumferential direction for reinforcing ribs. Not only does the strength improve, but also thermal distortion in the forward or backward direction of the quadratic curved surface 2a and curved concave surface 2b of the reflector 2 is absorbed by the rib portion, and the reflector 2
Although each surface has uneven temperature and thermal strain, it is absorbed by the ribs and the curvature of the curved surfaces 2a and 2b is maintained, so as in the above example, the reflection efficiency decreases due to the deformation of the curved surface of the reflecting surface. There is no reduction in heat dissipation efficiency, and since it is sufficient to provide reinforcing ribs at a plurality of locations as described above, it is easy to process and does not incur an increase in manufacturing costs.
