Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably regenerate a multiplexed signal by detecting and reducing efficiently a signal which disturbs the mulitplexed signal. CONSTITUTION:The output of a frequency converting circuit 3 is amplified by selecting a digitally encoded audio signal band of multiplex transmission by a band-pass filter 14. Then a synchronous detecting circuit 15 detects and demodulates a signal modulated with a component orthogonal to the amplitude- modulated component of a carrier by using a signal synchronized with the carrier regenerated by a carrier regenerating circuit 16. Then a disturbance detecting circuit 17 detects the level of disturbance from a video signal from the demodulated signal and it si fed back to a variable band-pass filter 14 through a control circuit 18 to obtain a demodulated signal after the disturbance from the video signal is reduced. Consequently, the disturbance to the multiplex signal is reduced and the stable regeneration of the multiplex signal is enabled.
