Abstract

PURPOSE:To preclude toner clogging due to excessive supply and a deficiency in visualization due to insufficient supply by storing toner on a sheet, and moving this sheet and thus supplying the toner to the developing device. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge B is mounted on an exchange mount case 5 and a development part A is put in operation. The flexible sheet 9 is taken up around a shaft 8 by a motor controlled by a toner sensor 3 corresponding to the amount of toner in a toner supply path 2a. Then the toner 10 placed on the sheet 9 is sent out of a toner supply opening 7b and supplied to a magnet roll 2. Then when a sheet 91 along the surface of a 1st space 71 by the winding moves up to the peak end of a partition plate 7c and the toner 10 is consumed, a sheet 92 in a 2nd sheet 72 is taken up this time. When the sheet 9 is all positioned on the line passing the peak end of the partition plate 7c, a sheet 96 in a 6th space 76 moves up to supply toner 10 to the horizontal part of the sheet 9 and the toner is sent to the supply opening 7b. Thus, the sheet 9 is taken up corresponding to the required amount of toner 10, which is supplied properly.
