Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the operation rate of a winding machine, by applying a specific steam set process to fine spinning bobbins transferred to and loaded on a plurality of heat treating chambers on the way of a conveyer line for carrying the fine spinning bobbins to the winding machine and subsequently rapidly cooling and drying the applied bobbins by an aeration cooling method. CONSTITUTION:Full fine spinning bobbins 23 carried from a fine spinning frame 21 are sent to heat treating chambers 1 and 1' and subjected to each of steam setting processes comprising a vacuum treatment, a steam heating treatment, a standing treatment for a constant period of time, a vacuum treatment and a vacuum-breaking treatment. The fine spinning bobbins 23 are sufficiently cooled and dried by the aeration cooling treatment of the low temperature air used for the vacuum-breaking treatment and then carried to a winding machine 22.
