Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable expression of complex woody grain with multiple structure by painting a first UV hardening paint for expressing woody grain on the surface of raw material veneer and irradiating UV rays to harden, followed by painting the second UV hardening paint with different color tone on this painted surface and irradiating UV rays to harden, and repeating these procedures. CONSTITUTION: The first UV hardening paint 3 is painted on the surface of raw material veneer 1 that has been decolorized and colored to spring wood beforehand, immediately followed by UV irradiation with UV lamp 4 to harden. Then the second UV hardening paint 7 is painted on the surface of the painted film 5 obtained and hardened with UV irradiation, further the third UV hardening paint 10 is painted on the surface of the painted film 8 obtained and hardened with UV irradiation to obtain painted film 11.
