Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously execute the patterning and smooth mirror finishing of the coated surface of a powder painted steel sheet by interposing a UV curing type resin having fluidity between the coated surface and transfer sheet, bringing the transfer layer and the coated surface into pressurized contact with each other and curing and stripping the coating. CONSTITUTION:The UV curing type resin having fluidity is interposed between the coated surface 3 of the powder painted steel sheet 1 to be used for external finishing of household electrical merchandise and the transfer sheet, then the transfer layer consisting of the transparent resin layer 5 and colored pattern layer 6 of the transfer sheet and the coated surface 3 are brought into pressurized contact with each other. UV rays are then projected to the transfer sheet from the release film side of the transfer sheet to cure the transparent resin layer 5, the colored pattern layer 6 and the UV curing type resin layer 11. The surface condition of the release film which is a specular surface is imparted to the surface of the uppermost layer and the specular surface is formed when the release film is stripped thereafter. Simultaneous patterning and coloring of the powder coated surface 3 which is a rough surface are thus enabled.
