を摩擦パツドに取り付けた状態を示す斜視図であ
り、第３図はそのシムを含むデイスクブレーキの
要部断面図である。第４図は第１図のシムについ
て走行距離ごとの金属部露出面積を従来のシムと
の比較において示すグラフである。第５図は従来
のシムの一部を示す断面図である。 １０：デイスクロータ、１２：インナパツド、
１４：アウタパツド、１６：キヤリパ、２０：ピ
ストン、２２：リアクシヨン部、３２，３４：シ
ム、４０：鋼板、４２，４４：ラバー層、４６，
４８：凹凸面。

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) デイスクブレーキの摩擦パツドとその摩擦
パツドをデイスクロータに押圧する押圧部材との
間に介在させられる嗚き防止用シムにおいて、 そのシムの表面および裏面の少なくとも一面を
多数の微小な凹みを有する凹凸面とし、その凹凸
面に密着させてラバ一またはグリス等の振動減衰
材層を形成したことを特徴とするデイスクブレー
キの鳴き防止用シム。 (2) 前記凹みの深さが１０μｍ〜１００μｍで
ある実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載のデイス
クブレーキの鳴き防止用シム。
