Spiked tires have a large amount of wear and tear on the spike pins, and there is an economic loss in replacing the tire due to the wear and tear on the spike pins even though the tire itself can still be used satisfactorily. Therefore, this idea was developed by fitting a cap-shaped pin onto the spike pin and engaging and fixing it to the tire. The cap-shaped pin continues to maintain the spike action using the worn spike pin as a base, extending the lifespan of the tire. This is what we are trying to do.

The above-mentioned object of this invention is to develop a pin (hereinafter referred to as a cap pin) that is a cap-shaped pin that fits tightly around a spike pin driven into a tire and has an engagement piece that protrudes from the outer periphery to engage and adhere to the tire rubber layer.
This is achieved by fitting the worn spike pin onto the outside of the tire and then driving it into the tire.

The structure of the cap pin of this invention will be explained using an example. Conventional spike pins driven into the crown part 1 of a tire can be roughly divided into pins 2 shown by chain lines in FIG. 2, and pins 2 shown by chain lines in FIG. There is a pin 3 with an integrated ring. The cap pin 4 of this invention, which is externally fitted onto either of the pins 2 and 3, has an engaging piece 5 having an upward wedge-shaped cross section projecting from its lower outer periphery. A plurality of engaging pieces 5 may be provided, or they may be provided in a ring shape around the outer periphery of the cap pin. Then the third
Since the pin 3 shown has a ring 6, a corresponding pin 4 is shown in FIGS. That is, the lower part of the pin body is inflated so as to embrace the ring 6, and a split groove 7 is cut therein. As a result, when the ring 6 is fitted onto the pin 3, the ring 6 is fitted onto the pin 3 in a hugging manner by the split groove 7, and is engaged with the tire rubber by the engagement piece 5.

Since it is used as described above, it has the effect of extending the service life of conventional spiked tires and maintaining the effect of the spikes.
