【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 横形エンジン６のラジエータ１０を、シリンダ
ブロツク１３の横側部に位置するシリンダヘツド
１７の外周空間でシリンダブロツク１３とほぼ同
じ高さ位置に配置し、 シリンダヘツド１７の前後一側面に、ウオータ
ジヤケツト１９の冷水入口１９ａとポンプ取付座
５７を設け、ポンプ取付座５７にウオータポンプ
５０をポンプ軸６０が前後向きになる状態に取付
け、 シリンダブロツク１３の前後一側面から突出す
る回転軸２９にポンプ駆動輪３２ａを固定し、こ
のポンプ駆動輪３２ａに、ポンプ軸６０に固定の
ポンプ入力輪５１を巻掛伝動帯５４で連動連結し
て構成したことを特徴とする横形エンジンの水冷
式冷却装置。 図面の簡単な説明を次のように補正する。 明細書第２頁第３行から第１２行の「６……横
形エンジン、……、Ａ……横外側空間。」を次の

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 横形エンジン６のウオータジヤケツト１９の上
    部に冷却水の温水出口１９ｂを、これより低い部
    分に冷水入口１９ａをあけ、ラジエータ１０の上
    部に温水入口１０ａを、下部に冷水出口１０ｂを
    あけ、ウオータジヤケツト１９の温水出口１９ｂ
    をラジエータ１０の温水入口１０ａに可撓性の温
    水管４６を介して連通し、ラジエータ１０の冷水
    出口１０ｂをウオータジヤケツト１９の冷水入口
    １９ａに冷水管４７を介して連通し、冷却水がウ
    オータジヤケツト１９内で吸熱してシリンダ１４
    及びシリンダヘツド１７を冷却して高温水となり
    、温水管４６を通り、ラジエータ１０で放熱して
    低温水となり、冷水管４７を通り、ウオータジヤ
    ケツト１９に循環するように構成した横形エンジ
    ンの水冷式冷却装置において、 横形エンジン６の横側部に位置するシリンダヘ
    ツド１７の横外側空間Ａにラジエータ１０を配置
    して、ラジエータ１０の温水入口１０ａをウオー
    タジヤケツト１９の温水出口１９ｂから近い所に
    位置させるとともに、ラジエータ１０の冷水出口
    １０ｂをウオータジヤケツト１９の冷水入口１９
    ａから近い所に位置させ、 ラジエータ１０の冷水出口１０ｂから冷水管４
    ７を経てウオータジヤケツト１９の冷水入口１９
    ａに至るまでの間にウオータポンプ５０を介装し
    て、ラジエータ１０で冷却された低温の冷却水を
    ウオータポンプ５０でラジエータ１０からウオー
    タジヤケツト１９へ圧送するように構成し、 シリンダヘツド１７の背面にポンプ取付座５７
    を形成し、ポンプ取付座５７にウオータポンプ５
    ０をポンプ軸６０が後向きに突出する状態に取付
    け、ポンプ軸６０に固定のポンプ入力輪５１を、
    シリンダブロツク１３の背面から後ろ向きに突出
    する回転軸２９に固定のポンプ駆動輪３２ａに巻
    掛伝動帯５４で連動連結した事を特徴とする横形
    エンジンの水冷式冷却装置。
