Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the production of rebound and noise by arranging an air damper on the initial position side of a hammer, absorbing the kinetic energy of the hammer and discharging the energy from the air damper to the external.
CONSTITUTION: Since the hammer device is provided with the air damper 7 for locking the hammer 1 on an initial position and constituted so as to receive the rotationally restored hammer 1 by the damper 7 and absorb and discharge the kinetic energy of the hammer 1 to the external, the absorbed energy is scarcely returned to the hammer 1 differently from a spring, an air spring, etc., and the rebound and shock sound of the hammer 1 can be effectively prevented. Thereby time required for the restoration and stop of the hammer 1 to/on the initial position can be shortened and respective movable parts such as the hammer 1, a keyboard and a damper mechanism can be prevented from being unnecessarily oscillated, so that sound generation accurately corresponding to key depression can be attained and beat playing with a quick and accurate expression can be attained.
