Conventional molding of cores was usually done manually by an operator using a brush, an air gun, a dipstick, or the like. However, in such manual mold painting work,
It has the disadvantage that unnecessary parts of the core mold are coated, and it is inefficient. Therefore, the present applicant has provided a mold cup filled with a mold coating liquid and shaped to allow the mold coating liquid to be dipped into the part to be coated, which can be moved up and down, and the coating mold can be applied only to the necessary convex portions of the mold. discloses a technique in which the liquid is immersed (Japanese Patent Application No. 54-25040).
As a result, the coating liquid can be applied only to the necessary convex portions of the coating mold, improving and stabilizing the quality, and further saving the coating liquid, which has the advantage of saving labor and improving the working environment. However, with this cup-type conventional technique, it is not possible to perform the mold coating work well for cores with complex shapes, that is, cores that have uneven portions that require coating. That is, although it is possible to apply the coating liquid in the cup to the convex portions, the coating liquid cannot reach the concave portions adjacent to the convex portions, making it difficult to coat the concave portions. Therefore, when applying the mold to the recessed areas, workers had to rely on manual labor.

In view of the drawbacks of the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus that can partially apply molding even to the concave portions of the core. In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a coating mold member having a shape that fits atop the concave portion of the core so as to be movable up and down, and the coating mold member is a sponge impregnated with the coating liquid. It consists of a sub-cup filled with a molding liquid made of a soft material with elasticity, such as wood, or an elastic material such as rubber. The coating liquid is supplied from the coating surface of the soft material or the sub-cup facing the recessed portion of the core to be coated, and it is possible to perform partial molding on the recessed portion.

In the operation of the first embodiment described above, the core a taken out from a core forming machine (not shown) is set above the liquid level in the mold bath 12 using the clamp 14. Next, when air pressure is supplied to the cylinder 9 from the pipe 40, the piston rod 34 extends as shown in FIG. The protrusion d to be coated is immersed. At the same time, the tip of the coating member 36 comes into contact with the recess e of the core to be coated, and the coating liquid contained in the coating member 36 made of a sponge or the like is deposited on the portion e. This is the part d that requires the coating mold,
After the coating of mold e is completed, when air pressure is supplied from the pipe 40', the piston rod 10 contracts and the cup 18 is submerged in the liquid surface, and the cup 1 of the mold coating liquid required for the subsequent work is filled.
8 is filled.

In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the coating mold member 4 is used when there is a protrusion like f in the recess e' of the core a' to be coated.
Indicates 0. The coating mold member 40 is similar to the first embodiment,
It is made of a soft material like a sponge that can be filled with molding liquid. The coating mold member 40 has a concave surface 401 at its top corresponding to a protrusion f, which ensures uniform application of the mold to the area e'. There is no difference in other configurations and operations.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the mold bath 12, bar 24, guide 26, etc. of the above-mentioned embodiment are omitted, and the piston rod 34 from the cylinder 32 is connected to the subframe 40. A drainage cup 50 is provided on top of the drain cup 40. A coating mold cup 18 is provided within the drainage cup 50, and a coating mold member 54 is installed upright from the bottom of the coating mold cup 18 as a sub-cup made of an elastic material. The lower end of the coating mold member 54 is connected to a discharge port 601 of a pump 60 via a suction hole 55 and a flexible hose 56 . A suction port 602 of the pump 60 leads to a mold coating liquid tank 64 . The drain cup 50 has a drain hole 66 and a flexible hose 68.
The mold coating liquid is returned to the mold coating liquid tank 64 via.

The pump 60 is driven by a motor 70 and introduces the mold coating liquid into the mold coating member 54 serving as a sub-cup. The coating liquid overflows from the tip of the coating mold cup 18.
The liquid that overflows from the drain cup 50 is returned to the tank 64 via the hose 68. When the piston rod 34 is extended by introducing air pressure into the cylinder 32, the coating member 5 is formed as a sub-cup.
The tip of No. 4 comes into contact with the recess e to be coated. At this time, the mold coating member 54 achieves sufficient adhesion due to its elasticity, and the mold is applied to the recess e. At the same time, the mold cup 18 is immersed in the convex portion d of the core to be molded, and that portion is molded. When air pressure is sent to the cylinder 32 to lower the piston rod 54, the coating member 5
4 is separated from the core a and returns to its original shape due to its elasticity, and the coating liquid sent from the pump 60 is applied to the coating mold member 5.
