Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polyethylene tube composed mainly of a polyethylene material produced by adding an amorphous or low-crystallinity polymer to a specific low-density polyethylene, and suitably usable for the connection of a high-voltage CV cable. CONSTITUTION:The objective polyethylene tube is produced mainly from a polyethylene material produced by compounding (A) a low-density polyethylene having a density of <=0.93g/cm<3> with (B) 5-20wt.% of an amorphous polymer (e.g. polyethylene-propylene copolymer) or a low-crystallinity polymer (e.g. ethylene-acrylate copolymer).
