CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber having a primary yield point of >=95g, elongation at break of >=135% and a total fineness of <=125 denier can be produced by metering a polyester containing ethylene terephthalate as main recurring unit with a gear pump, etc., ejecting from a spinneret, annealing in a heat- insulating zone having a length of preferably >=100mm, cooling with chilled air blasted against the fiber, lubricating the fiber and taking off at a take-off speed of preferably 3,000-4,000m/min.
