    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ドライブシヤフトハウジングの上部にエンジン
    が搭載され、同下部にギヤケースが接続されてい
    て、エンジンの回転をドライブシヤフトハウジン
    グおよびギヤケース内の駆動力伝達機構を通じギ
    ヤケース内のプロペラシヤフトを駆動し、プロペ
    ラを回転して船体を推進させる船外機において、
    ギヤケースの側面部でプロペラの回転半径内の領
    域に、プロペラシヤフトの軸線に対し平行して前
    後方向に延びるフインを左右に複数個突設したこ
    とを特徴とする船外機のギヤケース。
