Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an upper face washing brush to move over a wide range by allowing a first couple of right and left arms mounted to a car washing machine body to freely oscillate by cylinders, and mounting second arms to which the upper face washing brush is attached to the other head ends of the first arms so that the second arms can oscillate. CONSTITUTION:Base ends side of a first couple of right and left arms 13 is mounted through turning shafts 12 to a car washing machine sides 11 so that the first arms can make a turning movement, and mounted so that it can freely oscillate in equilibrium with a balancer 19 by a couple of right and left regulating cylinders 18 engaged with the car washing machine body side 11. Further, one end side of a second couple of right and left arms 15 is mounted through an oscillating shaft 14 to the head end side of the first arms 13 so that the second arms can freely oscillate, and then an upper face washing brush 16 is mounted rotatably between both the idle ends of the second arms 15. The upper face washing brush can be vertically moved over a wide range depending on the height of an automobile while keeping almost constant height of the head part of the first arms, and a effective washing operation can be thus performed.
