Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably output the quantity of organic metal by providing a partition unit for so dividing an inlet side and al outlet side therebetween as to retain a carrier gas passage, and a mesh formed in a whole interior. CONSTITUTION:A partition unit 5 so provided between an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 as to retain a carrier gas passage for dividing the interior of a vessel 1, and a mesh 6 provided in a whole body except the sections of the inlet 2 and the outlet 3 in the vessel 1 are formed. Solid organic metal 4 is widely distributed and adhered to the mesh 6, and an area in contact with carrier gas is broadened. When the gas is fed from the inlet 2 to this sublimator, the metal 4 is sublimed into the gas, but since the contact area of the gas with the metal 4 is large, its vapor pressure easily arrives at a saturated vapor pressure. Thus, the quantity of the metal output from the outlet 3 of the gas is not affected by the influence of the residue of the metal 4 in the vessel 1 but stabilized.
