At the time of starting the system, a key attribute file in the storing part 4 is read out by the control part 2 and stored in the RAM 6b as an attribute table. Consequently, the keyboard 6 has key information corresponding to respective key numbers to attain work processing. Since the attributes of respective keys can be automatically converted in accordance with screen defining information or field defining information, operator's shift key operation can be omitted.
