Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform uniform heating over a wide surface area and make a temperature of a heater adjustable to be a desired value by using paste or paint, whose main ingredients are specific metal oxides and synthetic resin, to treat a desired shape of a solid or a solid surface. CONSTITUTION:A solid 1 with a corrugated and recessed/projected surface is coated with heat-resisting ceramic 6. Paste or paint, whose main ingredients are metal oxides, e.g., V2O3, CrO2, ReO3, with positive temperature coefficients of resistance and 5X10<3>muOMEGAcm or less in their specific resistance, and synthetic resin e.g., epoxy resin, is stuck on the ceramic 6.
