However, conventionally, there is no good tool that can easily repair the contacts of open contact type electromagnetic relays that have deteriorated due to contact wear after a certain period of use by ensuring the specified contact pressure and contact resistance. I had no choice but to exchange it. This inevitably results in an increase in the number of man-hours required for maintenance, inspection and repair.

With the relay having contacts deteriorated due to long-term use mounted on the communication device, the contact cover 14 is removed and the deteriorated contacts are removed using a predetermined stripping tool. Thereafter, the operating rod 21i of the movable contact welding tool 21 is pressed to rotate the movable spring electrode holder 21d about the electrode holder pin 21e, and the movable spring electrode holder 21d is fixed to the holder 21d. The movable spring electrode 21a is opened in the direction of arrow A. Subsequently, the contact material 30 is inserted into the groove 21b' formed in the movable contact electrode 21b and held by the presser spring 21c (see FIGS. 3 and 4). Furthermore, the distal end portion of the movable spring 5 or 6 from which the contact has been released is placed on the contact material 30 to release the pressing force of the operating rod 21i. As a result, the movable spring electrode holder 21d receives the repulsive force of the spring 21h, and as shown in FIG.
The movable spring 5 of the wire spring relay and the replacement contact material 30 are held between the movable contact electrode 21b and the movable contact electrode 21b. In order to securely hold the movable spring 5, which is elongated and has a bent tip, a groove 21a' is provided at the tip of the movable spring electrode 21a. Next, when power is applied between the pin electrodes 21l and 21m from an external welding power source (not shown), the pin electrode 21l, the lead wire 21k, the movable spring electrode holder 21d, the movable spring electrode 21a, and the tip of the movable spring 5. Part - Contact material 30 - Movable contact electrode 21
b - Electrode holder for movable contact 21f - Conductive plate 21
A current flows through the path of the G-pin electrode 21m, resistance welding is performed due to contact resistance between the movable spring 5 and the contact material 30, and the contact material 30 is welded to the tip of the movable spring 5. After welding the movable contacts, the movable spring 5 is removed from the welding tool 21 by pushing down the operating rod 21i again to open the space between the electrodes 21a and 21b. Thereafter, the extra length of the contact material 30, which is made long enough to insert and hold the movable contact electrode 21b into the groove 21', is cut using a predetermined cutting tool. Note that each component of the welding tool 21 is arranged in an insulating case 21j.
