Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispense with the exchange of water in a live fish tank, by placing a filter in a bacteria-cultivation tank and placing a filtration bag containing powdery natural coral fossil in a filtration tank, thereby converting even ammoniacal nitrogen into nitric acid and discharging together with carbon dioxide gas, etc. CONSTITUTION:Sea-water circulated between live fish tanks with circulation pumps 2 is passed through a bacteria-cultivation tank 12 and a filtration tank 17 via a heat-exchanger 4, an ejector 9 and an oxygen dissolving part 8. Ammoniacal nitrogen is converted into nitric acid and discharged from the system together with carbon dioxide gas, excrete, etc. Calcium and the like are dissolved from the powdery natural coral fossil in the filtration bag 16.
