Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the title facing parts capable of maintaining an excellent appearance for a long period by successively laminating an intermediate layer of an electrodepositing metal and an alloy consisting essentially of Ti, the substrate layer of an electrodepositing metal, and an electrodeposition coating layer on the base material of an alloy consisting essentially of Ti. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate layer 4 of an electrodepositing metal and an alloy consisting essentially of Ti or Ta are formed on the base material 1 consisting of a core material 1a and a base layer 1b of Ti or Ta or their alloy. The substrate layer 5 consisting of an electrodepositing metal or the alloy consisting essentially of the metal is provided on the intermediate layer 4. A metal having <=11X10<-8>OMEGA.m volume resistivity at about 20 deg.C i appropriately used as the electrodepositing metal, and one or plural kinds among Pd, Ni, Pt, Au, Rh, Cu, Co, In, etc., can be exemplified. Furthermore, the electrodeposition coating layer 6 is formed on the substrate layer 5 by using various paints based on epoxy, acrylic, and urethane resins. By this process, the facing parts having excellent corrosion resistance and without defects of release, etc., are obtained.
