Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a matted film of excellent moldability, by molding a composition comprising a specified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer saponificate and a carboxylic acid-modified PE resin. CONSTITUTION:95-50wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer saponificate (A) of an ethylene content of 20-60mol.%, a degree of saponification >=90% and an MI of 0.1-15 is blended with 5-50wt.% carboxylic acid-modified PE resin (B) of a content of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or of a carboxylic acid anhydride of 0.0005-0.5mol.% and an MI of 0.01-10, and the obtained blend is pelletized, melt-molded into a film and quenched to obtain a matted film at least either surface of which has a surface glossiness <=60% and an irregularity of 3-15mu.
