Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a large transparent positive, by a method wherein not less than two ink jet systems of the same structure are arranged so that respective scan lines agree with each other, and writings and images to be drawn by respective ink jet systems mutually agree with each other and are laminated. CONSTITUTION:A first ink jet system 19-1 performs main scanning along a scan line 22-1 from upside to diagonal downside, and secondary scanning crosswise by one lead l content for each main scanning. Two-dimensional scanning is performed on a recording medium 7 by repeating this. A second ink jet system 19-2 is arranged parallel to the first ink jet system 19-1 for a magnification printing device, and the ink jet system 19-1, 19-2 are so arranged that respective scan lines overlap each other. Therefore, when the jet system 19-1 moves right to some extent, a scan line 22-2 of the jet system 19-2 will cross the recording medium 7. Thereafter, the jet system 19-2 moves so as to overlap coat following a trace of an ink stripe injected with the jet system 19-1. The recording medium 7 of a magnification printing image to be obtained thus is transparent or translucent, and is a huge transparent positive laminated by two layers of an image layer by ink supported thereon conforming to each other.
