Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce production man-hours by a method wherein electrodes are formed on both faces opposite to each other through a electrophoretic treatment and voltage is applied onto a laminated inner electrode. CONSTITUTION:In electrodeposition coating material 33 is adhered to an electrode end face 1, at which an inner electrode is exposed, in such a manner that the same electrode end face as resin is to be adhered to, where a laminated piezoelectric ceramic sintered material is exposed, is applied with negative voltage when a coating material is positively charged, and the ceramic sintered material is dipped into the coating material as it is negatively charged or applied with the coating material. Next, a face 2 corresponding to the face 1 is applied with electrodeposition coating material 33 so as to constitute a pair of opposite electrodes and the coating material is subjected to heating for setting, and glass fine powder is adhered onto the inner electrode faces, which are not applied with the electrodeposition material, of the electrode end faces 1 and 2 through an electrophoretic method. Further, the glass fine powder, which is heated to be fused and soft, coats the electrode end faces in such a manner as it covers alternately each lamination and the electrodeposition coating material is made to be burned out at the same time, and silver paste is applied onto a face on which outer electrodes are to be built and baking is performed for the formation of outer electrodes 1 and 2. By these processes, manufacturing time can be shortened.
