Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled remedy containing a specific dibenzooxazepin-8- carboxylic acid derivative as an active ingredient and having action increasing local cerebral blood flow at low dose over a long time.
CONSTITUTION: A compound expressed by the formula [R1 is H, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; R2 is H or alkyl; A is CR3=N or CR3H-NH (R3 is H, alkyl or phenyl or styryl which may have substituent group)] or salts thereof, e.g. 3-methoxy-11- methyldibenzo [b,f] [1,4]-oxazepin-8-carboxylic acid is contained as an active ingredient. The above-mentioned remedy is useful in treatment of cerebral infraction aftereffect, cerebral hemorrhage aftereffect, cerebral apoplexy aftereffect, encephalomalacia, cerebral edema, Buerger disease, Raynaud's syndrome, intermittent claudication disease, acute peripheral embolism, etc., and preferably administered in doses of 0.2W3.0g/adult/day as oral medicator or 0.05W0.5g/adult/day as intravenous injection.
