Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a filter device and to simplify the device by horizontally disposing at least two pieces of filters in the width decreasing direction in a housing by means of guide members. CONSTITUTION:The coarse particle filter 27 is disposed on the upper stream side of gas and the high-performance absolute filter 31 on the down stream side by means of a filter retainer 27 between a filter retainer 33 mounted to a spindle 15 projected into the housing 13 and a partition plate 23. The filter 31, the filter retainer 29, the filter 27, and the partition plate 23 are brought into contact with each other as the spindle 15 is rotated. At least two pieces of the filters 27, 31 are spaced from each other at a prescribed spacing and are symmetrically and horizontally disposed in the width decreasing direction of the housing 13. The plural filters are disposed in the longitudinal direction as well at prescribed spacings. At least two pieces of filter hoisting arms 35 are perpendicularly provided to the filter retainer 33 and hooks 37, 39, 41 are provided to the arms 35. The hooks are engaged with the filter frame 43 of the filter 31, the filter retainer 29 and the filter frame 45 of the filter 27, respectively so that the positioning thereof is facilitated.
