Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the discrete mounting of a high-performance filter and coarse particle absolute filter into the same chamber by hermetically coupling the filters to each other by using a filter retainer having hooks. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 11 for dividing the exhaust gas to be subjected to dust removal and the gas after the dust removal is provided in a housing 2. The filter retainer 12 is mounted to a spindle 5 projected into the housing 2 and is moved upward and downward in a prescribed position by a filter retainer guide 13. The coarse particle filter 14 is disposed on the upper stream side of the gas and the high-performance absolute filter 15 on the down stream side between the filter retainer 12 and the partition plate 11 by means of the filter retainer 17. The filter 15, the filter 17, the filter 14, and the partition plate 11 are brought into tight contact with each other when the spindle 5 is rotated. At least two pieces of filter hoisting arms 18 are perpendicularly provided to the filter retainer 12 and the hooks 19, 20, 21 are provided to the arms 18. The hooks are engaged with the filter frame 22 of the filter 15, the filter retainer 17, and the filter frame 23 of the filter 14, respectively.
