Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a sustained release microcapsule agent containing a drug having high concentration, not swelling by water absorption, by coating a drug- polymer composite material having a crosslinking degree of ion exchange polymer and a drug concentration prescribed in specific ranges with a coating film of water-permeable high polymer. CONSTITUTION:An ion exchange polymer having adsorbed >=80%, especially 85-100% drug based on theoretical ion absorption amount and 6-16%, preferably 8-14% crosslinking degree is coated with a coating film of a water- permeable high polymer (e.g., aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymer). The ion exchanger polymer has 5-1,000mum, especially 10-300mum average particle diameter and a basic drug having 7.5-10pKa or an acidic drug having 2-5pKa is preferable as the drug used. 0.2-10g of the preparation is suspended in 100ml purified water to prepare suspension for oral administration.
