Abstract

PURPOSE: Pharmaceutical preparation is made using polymerizable monomers and physiologically active substance and adsorbents and the preparation is irradiated with light or ionizing radiation at low temperatures to polymerize the monomers, thus producing said gradually releasing preparation that can freely control the releasing time of the active substance for long periods with chemical stability.
CONSTITUTION: Pharamaceutical preparation is made by adding an adsorbent as gelatin, agar, collagen, activated carbon, silica gel, caolin, ion exchange resin to a mixture of at least one polymeric monomer selected from a variety of vinyl compounds as glycidyl methacrylate, trimethylpropane trimethacrylate, a physiologically active substance as Bleomycin hydrochloride and, when necessary, a crystalline substance as polyethylene glycol and the resulting preparation is irradiated with light or ionizing radiation at 0W-100°C, preferably 0W-80°C to polymerize the polymerizable monomers, thus producing said gradually releasing preperation.
