Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve an output waveform, and to contrive miniaturization and lightening of the titled amplifier by providing a main magnetic flux loop path equipped with a first saturable core, a magnetic shunt core, an auxiliary magnetic flux loop path equipped with a second saturable core and a control winding wound at the extending part of the first saturable core and shifting the magnetic flux of an input winding at a magnetic shunt core. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic shunt core 14 shunts a part of the magnetic flux of a main magnetic flux loop path to outer legs 28 and 30, adjusts an output voltage, attenuates higher harmonics and minimizes the waveform distortion of the output voltage. A second wound core 22 is arranged so as to overlap with the lower half part of a first wound core 12 and a part of a first saturable core is magnetically saturated. Next, a control winding 24 is connected to a DC power source, second and third core parts 12b and 12c are magnetically saturated, the output voltage of an output winding 20 is lowered because a magnetic flux to cross with an output winding 20 is minimized. When a DC current supplied to the control winding 24 is minimized, the output voltage is reduced. Since the single control winding can be adopted and respective wound cores and respective windings are arranged in the same plane, super-thinning and compacting can be achieved, a magnetic shunt is provided at a main magnetic flux loop path, and therefore, the higher harmonics are attenuated and the waveform distortion of the output voltage can be improved.
