Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply detect the oscillation of notation and to correct the oscillation by successively finding out other expressions having the same reading in accordance with the frequency of appearance when the succeeding candidate of a specified expression is specified and replaceably displaying the expressions. CONSTITUTION:An expression based upon a notation found out by a notation checking part 4 and having oscillation is sorted in accordance with its reading and notation, stored in a buffer 6 and displayed on a display screen for displaying sentence data so as to be discriminated from other expressions and the appearance frequency of other expressions having the same reading and different notation as/from the expression specified on the display screen is checked by referring the buffer 6. When the succeeding candidate is specified, expressions having the same reading and different notation are successively found out in accordance with the appearance frequency and the specified expression is replaced by the candidate. Thereby, the expression of required notation can be selected and corrected by a simple operating procedure similar to the selection of the succeeding candidate to KANA (Japanese syllabary) KANJI (Chinese character) conversion result at the time of forming a document. Consequently, the integration of notation can be simply and efficiently attained.
