Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow other CPU to back up terminals under the management of a faulty CPU and to average the quantity of communication handled by each CPU so as to attain efficient picture information distribution by providing a sharing memory writing/reading properly a data representing the distribution state of each CPU. CONSTITUTION:CPUs 1a, 1b write a data representing the distribution state of its own system and a data representing the presence of a fault to the sharing memory 2 at all times. Then, the sharing memory 2 is sought by a prescribed period to recognize the presence or absence of fault and the distribution state of other system and if the communication quantity is biased, it is to be uniformized by the redistribution of communication control sections 5a-5n managed by each CPU, thereby uniformizing the communication quantity han dled by each CPU properly. The communication with excellent efficiency optimiz ing the capability of each CPU is attained at all times. When any of the CPUs 1a, 1b is faulty, the normal CPU backs up the faulty CPU to avoid the disabled communication of a part of line.
