Abstract

PURPOSE:To deodorize the toilet and other places in a home without arranging an exclusive deodorizing device, by adhering a substance having deodorizing action to the sheet like material used as the replaceable constitutional material of household fixtures. CONSTITUTION:A chemical liquid containing ferrous sulfate and alum having deodorizing action as well as higher fatty acid ester being the stabilizer of said substances is sprayed to sheet like cardboard to impregnate the same. Next, this cardboard is passed through a heating rolls to evaporate the moisture in the impregnated chemical liquid to bond the above-mentioned ferrous sulfate, alum and higher fatty acid ester to the fibers of the cardboard. This cardboard is punched to form a shape of a developed state of a tissue box 1 or a cardboard material 2 and the punched one is three-dimensionally assembled by predetermined procedure to constitute the tissue box 1. The ferrous sulfate or alum bonded to the cardboard material 2 is chemically reacted with ammonia or mercaptan being the main malodorous component generated in a home to catch and deodorize the same.
