PURPOSE:To obtain a good recorded image contg. scarce defect by forming a base body from an aluminum alloy contg. 0.1-3.0wt.% Mg, 0.01-0.20wt.% Si, and 0.01-0.30wt.% Cu. CONSTITUTION:A base body of a photosensitive body consists of an Al alloy contg. 0.1-3.0wt.% Mg, 0.01-0.20wt.% Si, and 0.01-0.30wt.% Cu. By constituting the base body of such Al alloy having an above described chemical compsn., the tissue of the base body has superior grindability causing scarcely sticking of Al powder to the surface of the base body during cutting and grinding, contg. scarcely crystallized phase and deposited phase to be avoided as causes for surface defect, is obtd. By this constitution, a good recorded image contg. scarce defect is obtd.
