Abstract

PURPOSE: To show the positions of only switches required for respective operations through the display from a display device, to reduce the number of visible switches and to attain the simplification of operation by providing a transparent touch switch on the display device. CONSTITUTION: A touch switch 7 placed on the front face of a liquid crystal display element 3 is made transparent so as to make the display of the element 3 visible. A transparent membrane film 8 which is made larger than the window part of a display frame 5 is struck to it. A holding base 10 of a glass board 9 for holding the touch switch 7 on its front face is attached to a printed circuit board 2, the element 3 or a biode 4 and the glass board 9 keep a fixed gap to make a force pressing the film 8 not be conducted. Thus, the position of the required switch can be displayed while using the indication on the element 3, so as to reduce the number switches visible at an operating part.
