CONSTITUTION:Anion and cation exchange membranes are stretched on the anode and cathode sides of an electrodialytic cell, respectively. A membrane having a cationic thin film at the surface layer part is used as the cation exchange membrane. A quat. ammonium salt is fed to a chamber partitioned off by the cation and anion exchange membranes and electrodialysis is carried out.
