On the other hand, in the discharge stroke, the suction valve 70 makes a relative movement to the inner part of a valve chamber 64 with respect to the plunger 14, and the valve 70 is held at the position at which the valve 70 touches the end surface on the opposite side of the above-mentioned opening side. The valve body 80 is seated on the valve seat 72, and the suction valve 70 enters a CLOSE state. At this time, by turning it, the position of the stopper 84 can be varied in the axial direction of the plunger 14. Therefore, the capacity of the reciprocating pump can be varied.
